incase you cant see all the oil all over the ground and the guard of the car, then maybe have a second look. thats not always the case either the rod can break just below the wrist pin from excessive rpms and punch a hole in the block that way.

at first i thought you were going to pull it with the power stroke and over rev it that way, seen that happen to a guy who pulls a suzuki sidekick with his moterhome- he forgot to take it out of 1st gear and managed to pull it to 60mph, every rod was threw teh block on that engine
