I had a 1987 with a 383 TPI that pushed 500HP. I had to also weld a special frame strengthening system along with a cross-bar for the two strut towers. Edelbrock made a TPI system that gave you up to 1000Hp back in the day. My dream version has variable suspension all around the car & All Wheel Drive.

I had a 86 about 3 years ago that I had purchased back in 96 to take to the drag strip and make a street car out of. It became more drag than street. Ended up sitting in my garage about 15 years. Was going to LS swap it with a 6 speed but, like an idiot I sold it. I could kick myself every time I see one as nice as this one. I was also going to do the Track Spec hood louvers. Very nice build brother. Congrats.

Well done! you did not fool around did it all, and love the small details really shows class. Curious, how happy are you with the intake punched down through the drivers side "battery tray"? This was my initial thought for my 83 as well however, I was concerned with pulling to much heat off the pavement. Again gorgeous car and in black, just as God intended. LOL, thanks for sharing.
@arnoldrodriguez38034 ай бұрын
@@davebarron5939 thanks for the kind words. Honestly I did away with the intake through the battery tray a couple of years ago. I was going on the hot rod tour and was concerned about rain and possibly flooded backroad streams that sometime overflow onto the roadways here in Texas. So I removed a section and now it turns down towards the battery tray but remains inside. Haven’t noticed any real difference in performance. Thanks for watching
