I had montesa during 70s my country got in revolution and parts were hard to find i needed piston ring so i found triumph car piston ring was same size but little ticker took it to machine shop he made it work i had to change the rings often as it wasnt original but worked for the time your video opened the old wounds ,cheers.

If it helps. I run my Yamaha TY Majesty 250 on fully synthetic 2 stroke oil at 50:1 with no issues at all. it really helps with smoking. Modern trials bikes are running 70:1

I wonder why those old two stroke engines sound like a pound of nuts and bolts in a washing machine
