Awesome, thanks for that! The gearing does seem pretty good for what you'll want from it. might be a bit slow at top speed, but this isn't really a commuter bike so no issue. Once the niggles are sorted I think you'll be on a winner. No, not in that sense... but it might be a finisher.

Yeah, might end up changing the gearing a bit, but will see how it goes. An extra 5mph would be nice, but I can live with it! Will have to see what it's like up some hills.

Believe it or not you can take a cg engine out to 232cc with a bit of work

Yeah, that was one on my list of possibles. Looked similar to the Puch engine shape.
