The Full Moon sounds WAY better with both the switches up - brighter and tighter with plenty of room for chug with the bass knob if you want it - was blown away demo’ing in a music store - can’t wait to try it in a band setting! Love my 80’s Rat but Full Moon is awesome into a Deluxe Reverb for a Channel 2 sound.

Stephen Wade I’m looking for a good pedal for trash metal stuff and I’m between the full moon and the pugilist. The pugilist seems to have more gain but the full moon has more eq control and a tighter sound. Can I get that tight highly distorted sound from the full moon?

@@Jack-bn3dz Nah, get the tight high gain pedal. These are overdrives although they are named as distortion

In every comparison that you have done with the Fender Full Moon, I prefer it to the competitor. Not only does it sounds great, it has way more flexible controls, a built in boost, and a small form factor for a double pedal. At that price, it destroys the competitors, hands down!

You should make the comparison with the new fender pugilist distortion. The full moon appears to be very different and fainter and more subtle. A greeting.

Can you compare the Full Moon with a mij DS-1? Nice comparison video, rat sounds more compressed, Full Moon more dynamic and a bigger bottom end.

I have the reissue whiteface rat that I think you reviewed? Cool pedal, nice review. Rat mixes well but no bass if you are a bedroom player. Which did you like better?

Both sound great. Rat has more gain. Might have to get both.

En una comparacion donde solamente tocas guitarra el Fender tiene mas rangos dinámicos y gusta más. Pero la verdad es que cuando tocas con tu banda o grabas tienes que cortar todos esos rangos porque se compensa con el bajo, la batería, los teclados, la voz, etc. En conclusión el sonido adecuado es del Rat.
