I must confess that the Pugilist is now my main pedal on my pb. It improves the ton by itself, the drives and distortions result are impressive and I now always use it in front of all my overdrives...I play the guitar for 30 years and it clearly gives the tone result I had in mind!I resell 5 pedals, even with higher price ,and felt in love with this Pugilist!. Thanks for created it Stan!My wife changed my life and you did it twice!

I love my Princeton amp so much, the 65 reissue but even after I spent years buying tube amps at home I had trouble getting the sound of drive I wanted. My pedals would only get me part of the way there at the volume I wanted. Then I discovered the compressor use where you get the drive pedals as close as you can, and add the compressor with the sustain knob down to almost zero or zero and the volume up. It brought the Princeton alive, and helped my drive pedals become more dynamic and rich than ever before. I am sure if you have Fender pedals and a clean amp like that, you can do the same thing with their compressor. I got my regular American professional Strat and Princeton really sounding like creams’ 2005 reunion show at the royal Albert hall, it’s awesome!

Great video! How would you classify Fender Santa Ana Overdrive? And does it stack well with Boss Blues Driver BD2 & Ibanez Mini Tube Screamer TSMini? Signal chain- Empress Buffer+ -> TS Mini-> BD2 -> Santa Ana.

drop the pretentious tone descriptions e.g. splatty and just cycle through the tones, let people listen to the sound, not the silly lingo that means nothing
