best of luck with rebuilding the fuel distributor. did it on my 16v and never wanna do it again

Any Tips? Lessons learned? I've decided to only put sealant around the circumference of the fuel distributor based on what I've read. Did you get yours not to not leak??

​@ParksandRecYT the main lesson learned is never open it and leave it to a professional! just got mine back from flowtech and the peace of mind is worth the price. mine didn't leak and I never put sealant around mine (didn't know you were supposed to) and it never ran right again. sounded like it was running on 3 cyl last time I tried to start it

I'd probably send the head off to be rebuilt if I were you chap! These early Bosch systems are seriously difficult to set up properly. Heard them described as witchcraft!
