1985 Week 2 - Patriots vs Bears

Takes me back. I was 23 and in the Navy. Watched most of the games that year from inside the Trenton.

Was on a Med cruise onboard USS Yellowstone when the season started. Transferred stateside Week 7 of the season. Due to flight delays, I was put up overnight in NY before connecting home the next day. Checked into my room and flipped on the TV less than five minutes before Perry scored his first TD against the Packers on MNF. Cheers....

The Bears were on WMAQ-TV Channel 5 in 1985, 4 times including the Super Bowl in '86. Twice on WLS-TV Channel 7 on Monday night Football.

When you edit these videos it would be better if you kept the turnovers and 3rd or 4th down stops. There were some fumbles in this game by the Bears that are not in this video. It is srrange to watch a 2nd and 3 turn into the other team has the ball with no explanation.
