1986 Chevy K10 Squarebody Silverado Truck initial walk around. We'll be building this one out!

We just purchased this 1986 Chevy Squarebody. Mostly original and had all the original paperwork with it. Nice straight body but does have some mechanical kinks to work out. We'll be upgrading this rig with a lot of new parts along with some amazing paint.

Being an old Chevy Man and having spent some time on the Drag Strip I can tell you that Header bolts are notorious for backing themselves out over time. It's a good idea to check them periodically to make sure they have not loosened up. Expanding and contracting of new headers and gaskets is the culprit. I saw in the 3rd video that you replaced the gaskets but do yourself a favor and keep checking the bolts until they seem to be staying put. Love the videos, keep them coming. Oh, I am also in the process of rebuilding an old 87 R10 I inherited from my Dad.
