Ok, well with out a turbo since idk if I'm gonna do it yet, since I want my engine to last me along time and be reliable. But I'm gonna just cut the "cats" off and put them out the sides or back

+Detroit Diesel CraftsmanFan You shouldn't have cats on that? At least the US stuff doesn't have it. In my opinion the stock mufflers are pretty good sounding. Glass packs are way too wild.

17-18 highway, 15 combined, and about 11-13 hauling. Still better than my folks 454!

Also thinking of doing a turbo. 6.5 turbo. You think the engine will hold up? It's a J code

+Detroit Diesel CraftsmanFan With low boost numbers yah (5 psi). It will still probably pop a head gasket at some point. Then when you replace em you can go to head studs and a better gasket and run a lot more boost!

How'd you manage to get it so loud in the inside?

+Detroit Diesel CraftsmanFan Might be because the windows are down. But it's not really that loud inside to me. I also have a 5 speed so I had to cut a hole in the floor for the shifter (covered up though). It's really not that much louder than when it was stock.

+Detroit Diesel CraftsmanFan No reason to run duals on a truck with a turbo. Sounds fine to me. Its plenty loud, doesn't sound too horrible.
