I remember seeing Leo at the Dayton Air Show a few times during the 80's when I was a teenager. That man's performance easily stood out from all others; including Art Scholl and Bob Hoover. Nobody hugged the ground closer! The 80's were an exciting time to go to air shows and neat to watch the T-Birds transition from the T-38 to F-16 and Blues from the A-4 to F-18. Funny to see Navy Blues guys checking out his performance at 06:06 mark. Brings back great memories, Thanks for posting.

He stopped for fuel once when I worked at DUJ in the early 80's. We talked for quite awhile. He came through another time when I wasn't there and he asked if I was working. I thought it was pretty cool that he even remembered me.

I first saw him at the 1980 Sussex Air Show. He was insane. Literally, it seemed like he and the French Connection (duo) were performing 10ft off the ground and in the latter team, 10ft off the ground and only inches between wingtips of their Cap 10s.
