1986 Exhibition Game - WAFL - Subiaco v Hawthorn

The fantastic last ten minutes from the game between Subiaco and Hawthorn in October 1986 - played after both teams had won their respective State Grand Finals. This was the last time a team from the full-strength WAFL played against a VFL team and has just been transferred from VHS. I was actually at this game I remember it. I was at the game as a 15 year old it was a really great game of footy and Subiaco did not take a backwards step

Remember this well... was standing behind the city end goals when I was 15 but its funny I don't remember the crowd being this big at all!

Hawthorn wore their training jumpers due to a clash with the Subiaco jumpers.

Great game. No doubt Hawthorn a bit tired at the end of the season having to come over to WA to play but they sure had their full complement. Subi did very well indeed.
