Griffin with more practice could easily be the tall forward that the Dockers are looking for. Why the hell is he being played as a ruckman? Awesome overhead grab and a decent shot at goal with some notable leg speed. That and an ability to stand up in big moments. Dockers' fans need to stop blaming the umpires, from what I can tell they were outmatched.

Umpires lost the game for Fremantle blah blah blah. The umpires didn't make freo turn the ball over in defensive 50 3 times in the last quarter. Umpires didn't make freo miss easy shots at crucial times. Simple fact is is that Hawks took their chances and freo didn't. Better and more composed team won on the night

Copout, if you want to know why you lost that game just take a look at the stats in the Eagles-Hawks qualifying final compared to the Dockers-Hawks prelim. Hawks stats against eagles, Marks- 64 Kicks- 199 Inside 50s- 40 Vs Fremantle, Marks- 147!!!! (This stat here alone sums up why freo lost, if you dont stop Hawthorns uncontested marking game you're no chance) Kicks- 263 Inside 50s- 42

Let’s be real this team would’ve beat the Eagles in a GF. We were the only team in a GF to get close to the Hawks in their 3 peat. Eagles lost by 46 pts if I remember correctly. Sydney lost by 63 pts. Freo by 15 pts.

Jack Kearney yeh cos it seemed that all 3 commentators were saying he cannot do it. no other players are allowed to do it. i've never heard about this "natural arc". all i know is that when he played on the commentators had an awkward silence and said "well i suppose he's kicked a goal?".... maybe they should come out and exlain it cos currently every single person watching the broadcast is convinced the rules were again ignored

Space Cadet Natural arc. Franklin has been doing it his whole career. Several players past and present have a natural wide arc when kicking for goal. Peter Sumich was another from back in the day
