As much as i love Sooner football i always preferred to watch Nebraska on offense...Switzer was fortunate to out recruit Nebraska for Eric Mitchell (PineBluff Arkansas)...Mitchell would have been a beast in the CornHusker offense....

ABC had a day night doubleheader here. Oklahoma played UCLA in the day game. Also strange to see FSU play in Lincoln in back to back years. Keith certainly mentioned the weather difference between the two years.

Actually this was the 2nd time FSU played in Lincoln back to back years, the first being 1980-81 (and just like the 85-86, they won a 4 pointer in the first one (1980) and lost a blowout in the 2nd one (1981. 34-14)
