1986 YAMAHA YSR 50 Miniature Motorcycle..fun scaled down Marlborough replica yzr500 80's minibike??

A look at my mates Yamaha YSR 50...unfortunately not a YZR500 but a kinda miniature version Yamaha produced in the late 80's to early 90's .. he's had it resprayed and an engine rebuild, little look and ride of the bike ...fun little thing, was a laugh making the video, hope you enjoyed it

Cool upload. I bought and raced one when they first came out, took me all season to get up to the front. Cut the pegs and bent up the pipe for ground clearance, cost me 1200 dollars all season including the bike. Superb fun and very competitive racing. New subscriber.

We used to stick those blue freezer blocks in the airbox for a nice cool charge 😂 it was 120 degrees in my leathers, got to keep the air cool!

Some one in my neighborhood had about three to five of these they would race from 50 to 80 cc I believe the had one custom 125 cc. Yamaha and Honda both made some of these.

Yeah there was a few different ones, don’t know I’d like to go far in one .. especially around lorries but great fun.. especially if you and a few of your friends have them :)

Thanks, was fun, I know it gets confusing who’s Porsche is who’s down here, that’s Steves one,he won’t have no paint left on that soon, he’s a bit shy when it comes to cleaning others though...there ain’t no cars that sound like yours though around here!!

They can be anything really, if you want one to restore I’ve seen them under £1k , something nice can be £3k/£4k + … whatever someone wants to sell there one for I guess
