MAN... that's a car to truly be proud of. Today's muscle cars make more power , but to me, don't look nearly as good as these 80's cars do. I was a teen back then, and these firebirds made a certain part of my body stiffen up !!!! Truly lusted after these cars. My dad's best friend had an 87 firebird formula 350 just like yours, same paint scheme, wheels, everything. Hard top too. So yours brings back memories. I LOVE YOUR CAR !!!!!!

BEAUTIFUL car! I'm in Rochester, NY, and I'm proud to say I've got your car's "Little brother"! I've got the 1987 Formula 5.0 Liter, 5 speed with 23000 original miles on it (I bought it with 13 10 years ago). Same exact color/stripe scheme, same wheels, and mine's got the T-Tops. I did install a flowmaster exhaust on mine, so I could at least sound like I was a 350. lol. I love these cars, and I love you've restored yours to stock. Well done, she's a beauty!

I had an '87 back in 1992 and had some of my best memories in that car! Looking at the interior brings back so much nostalgia. I beat a couple 5.0 Mustangs and got beat by a couple 5.0 Mustangs lol.

Had an '87 305....didn't think you could get them (especially the 350) with manual windows! Mine had the 273 gears I believe. Beautiful ride!!

You know why we never talk bout these? Because we were all either Fox Body or IROC-Z fan boys..and no one wants to mention the car that performed better than both of those. We'd rather act like it didn't exist outside of the show Knight Rider.

Hello im in the process of restoring my 1987 formula 350. Looks just like yours kirk. The motor has a bad knock. so the million dollar question . put crate in or rebuild old motor.
