Fredd Young During his college career at New Mexico State a little-known backup linebacker named Britt Mayberry suggested that Frederick Kimball Young change the spelling of his shortened first name. Mayberry told his teammate, Fred Young, that he should add a second ‘D’ to his name because he hit so hard it made opposing players stutter. Thus, Fred Young became Fredd Young. Seattle Seahawks (1984-1987) 4x Pro Bowl selection (2 at Special Teams and 2 at Linebacker) 2x All-Pro selection (1 at Special Teams, 1 at Linebacker) In 1988 he was traded to Indianapolis for the Colts’ 1st round draft picks in 1989 and 1990. He played with them for 3 years and retired after the 1990 season due to injuries.

With 86 of 116 plays being rushes and the consequent low scoring, this has to be one of the shortest football games of the modern era.

I remember watching this game on TV. Low scoring defensive battle won by the Steelers

if they drafted marino with that defense at that time , marino could have added 4 more super bowls , but that means some future players would never been steelers in the future drafts , but it would be worth it ,

Steelers drafted 1st round draft pick Gabe Riviera as nose tackle, and it looked like he was going to have a great career until he had a car accident because he was drunk and was paralyzed from the chest down just 7 or 8 games into his rookie season. It was after the Monday night football game against Cincinnati. That's who they drafted instead of Marino, and I have thought many times over the years what the Steelers could have done if Marino was their quarterback. Dan Marino played on that very field in college, Hometown Boy and everything. He was meant to be in Pittsburgh. With that defense and running game they had, they would have won some super bowls.

The Rams 10-7 win over the Steelers on ABC Sunday 1978 would be nice too. One of the best defensive games I have ever seen.

That only works with an unlisted videos and you still wouldn't be able to view it. Also it has a full block on it, not just in the U.S., so a proxy server does no good either. And even though it's not a strike on my account I'd prefer to stay away from having copyright blocked content on my channel.

Hopefully a non SEC team beats the Bulldogs this year. Hopefully it’s the Longhorns. I love these 70’s and 80’s broadcasts. They should not be protected. All past broadcasting should be available to the people to enjoy!!!

The entire first drive by the Steelers was running the ball down Seattle's throat until they had to throw the ball at Seattle's 19 yd line. Malone threw a horrible pass to a wide open Stallworth behind him and they had to end up settling for a FG. It seemed like Malone got worse as a quarterback the longer he played. He never reached his peak like the 1984 season ever again.
