Wow massive video! This is pure gold. Thanks for documenting all of this, it's a big service to all the M30 owners.

I can’t get over how clean that looks in the video. Even the inside of the timing covers looks like it just came out of the parts washer. Thanks for the video.

Thank you very much, i just have bought one m30b35 with low mileage but that was sitting for 15 years and need a reassembly, so this will be very helpful. Hope you make another video of putting back new or refurbished parts all together

Very nice! Now the trick is to see if you can put it all back together in 1 hour and 17 minutes. LOL!

Beautiful engine and almost 400k , amazing . Nice Southbend didn't know you had a lathe Carl ?
@Broncocarl924 жыл бұрын
I am amazed by the almost zero wear of the mains and rod bearings. I bought new bushes for the small ends of the connecting rods, but I am going to leave them as they are. The Southbend has been in the shop for 3-4 years now, was a hand me down (gift) from a very good (great) friend. I love it. Thanks for watching and please be safe out there.

Excellent video. It seems the way it looks after that many miles gives me hope for my m30b34 to last so much longer than I thought originally and thinking about forced induction now. What is your take on your m30b35 motor lasting another few hundred thousand miles?

How do the bores look?

Are you going to install liners and machine the crank?
@Broncocarl924 жыл бұрын
No.. I have a NOS block and pistons. The crank has virtually no wear so I am going to assemble with new bearings and check the clearance.. and go from there.
