I thought I was the only one doing a “pro touring” D150. Guess not, lol. Definitely following your build since my 86 D150 could be your truck’s twin brother. Except for the interior color (mine’s blue/gray) and it’s a long bed. My truck was my grandfather’s. He bought it new in 86. I grew up riding in it with him. When he passed away I asked my grandmother if I could purchase it from her, she agreed. It only had 118,000 when I bought it. Drove it in stock form for about 4 years. Since my grandfather was a “gear head” also, I know he’s telling me, “kid, she’s yours now. Make it your own”. So, that’s what I’m going to do.

Hey, thanks for watching and thanks for sharing the history behind your truck. Very cool story indeed. I'd love to see how yours turns out. I'm just taking my time and doing things as I can with mine, but I know it's going to be a lot of fun once I get the suspension and stance dialed in.

88' is new enough to be a TBI truck right? It needs more low for sure. Soon enough we will have enough trucks for a dedicated truck class at Winston !

Yea, it's the first year of the TBI and roller cam.
