I remember watching this broadcast. This must have been the only year the BBC covered Down Royal.

Didn't used to get much chance to watch Irish jump racing on bbc back then, apart from the grand national and Ladbroke hurdle, plus occasional races from Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Interesting upload, cheers, do you have any more races from this broadcast?

I can hardly ever remember Down Royal being on the TV, we had BBC Wales so maybe it was only on BBC NI
