That's a gorgeous example, bone stock , we never ever left anything stock for long back then , rare gem 💎. I've noticed a resurgence of late 80s and 90's motorcycles by guys like me that rode them new and younger guys now . Great fun motorcycles, no one would regret that buy.

Wow, I guess I should restore mine. '88 red/black with 8k+ on it. Only change is a Yosh pipe. Tires are stock and still holding air. Have the original pipe, and the seat cover has never been installed. That is a beautiful bike there!

I had this exact same bike and like a fool sold it in 94. It was so stable in the corners with the 18" wheel. I wonder what a pristine one is worth today?

Hi. I have one but it is 750 CC also 88 '. I need the screen / wind shield. I've searched to buy it but what's available is offered in the 750cc model for years 86 and 87; and for the 1100cc model years 88 and 89. My question is whether that wind shield could fit the 750cc year 88. Could you help me?

Hi, good night, my dad have an exactly bike like the one you are showing out, and his question is, how much is the value of a stock 1100 gsxr 1988? The bike is parked since 18 or 20 years, with only 10 k miles and agency yoshimura intake, it would need a good carburetor and general cleaning and general fluids change, and new tires, everthing else is perfect, paint and seat are great. Thanks for answering... My english is not perfect, i am from latin america.

Hi Ricardo, the 1988 model is very desirable and hard to come by at this point in time, the more original it is, the more it is worth! At auction this bike can bring well over $10,000 in original condition.

That's an 85. 86. Frame. And motor. My brother has one. In black red and white. I had an eighty eight sling shot. But never seen one like this. In. That Color scheme. So this is a real thing?. Hmm.

HOW MUCH ARE YOU SELLING THE BIKE FOR IF YOU STILL HAVE IT I HAD THE 1987 MODEL BACK THEN WHEN I WAS 21 BUT THE BIKE GOT STOLE AFTER A WEEK SO IN 1990 I BOT THE *90 MODEL I HAD THE BIKE FOR 23 YEARS THE BIKE WAS STILL ALL STOCK ALL ORIGINAL UNTIL FOR THE FIRST TIMETHE BIKE WENT FOR A CARB CLEAN AND THE BIKE GOT TOTALY DESTROID THE ENGINE THEY DID A WIRE BRUSH CARB JOB SO I HAD TO GET IT OUT OF MY WAY THE BIKE SHOP WASCALLED CHAMPION CYCLE IN TORONTO CANADA.
