The last ever race for Allan Moffat as a driver in the ATCC. He turned 50 later in the year and kept a promise he made to himself and his wife that he wouldn't race past the age of 50. He went out a winner too, winning the InterTec 500 at Fuji with Klaus Niedzwiedz (Moffat actually turned 50 just 2 days before the Fuji race).
