I have a 1986 IROC-Z. It is my first car ever and I still drive it today. It is white with black interior, T-tops, and louvers on the rear hatch.

Oh man do I like this, I bought a brand new 87 with the 5.7 and everyone with the earlier models where kinda jealous because they all had the 5.0 but that didn't last too long because after 87 they mass produced the 5.7. Needless to say It had 18 thousand miles on it in 91 and I still had the original tires front and back and my plan was to keep it forever but driving it home from winter storage in 91 and 16 year old kid ran a stop sign and that was the end of my iroc z, spent 6 weeks in hospital and a year in rehab 😊,sorry for the rant it's just seeing 👀 this beauty brings all the memories back, the good and bad ones...

My grandfather had a 83’ Camaro Z28 she was A beauty. Anyways what’s the difference between a tuned port and fuel injected?

Tuned port injection is the right term. It is fuel injection, its just a fancy way to say it's got an injector in the intake port for each cylinder, instead of the throttle bottle injection that most of the 5.7s at the time had, which had a single injector in the throttle body, similar to how a carburetor works.

CRUISE CONTROL STILL ON THE STALK, AND NO RACK AND PINION STEERING, & NO TRUE DUAL EXHAUST AS WELL. MUSTANG HAD THOSE LONG BEFORE.
