This is like a futuristic Shinobi game made by Konami with music by Miki Higashino (Gradius etc). Three of my favourite things ever. How the hell have I not heard of this before?!?!? I'm IN!!!!

Nah, there are quite a few similarities (having to collect all of something before proceeding, the high jumps including switching planes, etc. - main difference is that here you can shoot fast while in Shinobi you're sorta slow with the shurikens). Note that we're talking about the original Shinobi arcade, not Revenge of Shinobi which is a completely different beast.

gingataisen man, i have played so many of those arcade games, but this game is awesome, even that it has a similar premise to sega's shadow dancer. The gravity gimmicks and the trivia bonus were pretty cool. And the soundtrack is top notch.
