obviously I am more worried about my daily.... Volvo 940, I mean the M5 gets like 5-6000 km/year there is hardly worries, but the Volvo got 40.000+ km and Rust is taking its toll on it.

@@sermovies3217 Big congratulations to you and your beloved E34 M5 3.6! According to my measurements, your car is as fast as a brand new 1990 E34 M5!! I have lots of old magazine articles and tests about this car in German language. One of them has tested this car back in April 1990! They have achieved 6.5 s 0-100 km/h, 15.2 s 0-160 km/h and 24.4 s 0-200 km/h with 2 people on board! So, 100-200 km/h should be somewhere between 17 and 18 seconds. The speedometer of this car over-reads by about 5 to 7 km/h. In this video, your car flies from 100 to 200 km/h in around 17 seconds which is pretty close or even faster than a brand new M5 in 1990 which means no loss of performance after 200k kilometers and 30 years!! This is a solid proof that M-Power engines are indeed bulletproof and reliable! Long live E34 and German Autobahn!!

@@Messergebnis-liebhaber well yes, but right now it started misbehaving. And it is winter in Germany, so I can not troubleshoot it. Air-Fuel Mixture is running very rich and I changed Lambdasensor, Airflowsensor got checked and is good, so maybe my ECU got shorted at a point. So next summer testing will come back.

Nope the s38 has a turbine Sound from the getgo. They have some construction shenanigans in the head which makes the Valves Sound like that.

@@Xaocka 500e is not an amg, e60 amg is faster than M5 3.8. In the end the 500E was an E-Class with a 500SL or 500SE / SEL engine carrying practically no special preparation other than widened axles. still the sensations of the m5 would be much more sporty than those of the e60. I have a 525i e34 and a 600sel obviously not from the same segment and cannot be compared directly, but in general BMW is clearly much more focused on the driving experience and the sensations. Mercedes is at another level in all aspects except driving sensations. We can only enjoy these cars because what is coming looks like a refrigerator with an inverter motor. 🤣
