The Packers of the year before beat the 49ers at Candlestick then sadly the next year the Packers reverted back to their losing ways. They had close games they couldn't win and it was a huge disappointment. Then in 91 Packers really bottomed out until 92 when Mike Holmgren and a certain backup QB would come in.

They actually had a winning record at the start of December: 6-5 before losing out

Why are there never 2 running backs in the backfield on offense now like they always did years ago on every offensive play? I know it's a passing league now but so what. Why did they take the second running back away now?
@magicmike5879 Жыл бұрын
And almost always with the QB in the shotgun now
@thomasoaxaca33797 ай бұрын
They started using a single back and line up the other back in the slot. What you are referring to is having a halfback and a fullback. Now they are just called running backs.

He had a strong leg but man he was unreliable. Not only that but he missed numerous extra points throughout his career which were much closer in distance when he was playing.

@@JHarrison49 No, he was bad. Useless on anything over 30 yards - just 55%. It's insane to me that he stayed with the 49ers after 1991. He missed 50% of his kicks that year and singlehandedly cost them a playoff spot with an all-time disaster of a game in Atlanta.
