Yeah I was happy with those golds. I'll probably crack the Chipper and see what I can find and see if it is worth sending to SGC or not.

It’s amazing how we find the flaws after we grade it. I think I’m going to keep my next slab I separate and put each card in it and look at them before submitting. I use a Dremel around all edges. the top & bottom come right apart.

That's a great idea! It is crazy how we can find an easy flaw (corner white or centering issue) after we send it to grade. So many times I look at the scans they do before they grade and wonder how I though that card was centered. I'll have to look into a dremel.

Sp is hard to grade high due to the foil. That’s why there are a lot of 8’s or lower

Oh yeah absolutely. I've gotten an PSA 8 that I cracked and sent to SGC and got a 9 there. Then recently got an SGC 8 and now that 6. I'm probably crack the 6 and look it over to see if that scratch is what I missed. I'm on a mission to get an PSA 9!

I am waiting for my submissions. If I don’t agree with a grade, is it difficult to take the card out of the case? How do you break it open and is there any risk in damaging the card if you try to take the card out?

Good luck with your upcoming grades. PSA has switched to their newer type slabs and for me when I tried to crack a card out it was pretty tough. If you do want to try I would search on YT for newer videos of people doing it to see how they handle the newer slabs. But before you do definitely look the card over again and see if you can see what you might have missed that made it the lower grade than you thought. Most of the time PSA does get it right.

@ thank you for the advice! Yeah, I will look more closely at them when I get them back, but if it looks like it will be a messy undertaking to break one out, I’ll just accept it. 🤷‍♂️
