There's no doubt that Tetris will go down in history as one of the best if not the best of puzzle games made. Honestly I'm a little surprised that n64 Tetris game isn't on online yet

Tetris for the NES has always been my favorite one. The aesthetics of it are just perfect to me and my god is music Type 3 gorgeous. I could listen to that all day. I would sit there as a kid and be completely mesmerized by that music when playing it back then.

Well I wasn't disappointed until you pointed out we could've had a big Tetris batch... but I'm more interested in seeing Donkey Kong games so I didn't even think about it. Anyway- funny to have it in the middle of the DK Land games, but I feel like it doesn't offer much that GB Tetris doesn't already have.

Even though this episode came before Donkey Kong Land III, Tetris will actually come out after (on December 12). Plenty of time for them to sneak in another Donkey Kong game.

Disappointed? Naaah, I'm thrilled after so long we're finally getting more NES and Game Boy NSO drops, and I'll be honest, I'd be pretty happy if the steady stream of a game every week or two was just a thing they kept at. It's fun having more to play!

"But the question is is this game actually worth playing?" The game: NES Tetris. Defunct Games probably thinking "This is an easy one, gonna just phone this in." (Yes, you should play NES Tetris even if you prefer other versions. Its unforgiving rigidity will help you adapt to far easier modern versions) FWIW the Tetris collection released last month is good but desperately needs a Tetris released past the mid-90s so we can keep up comparisons. I'd have loved it if the Collection had Tetrisphere or Tetris 64 for the N64, or Tetris DS. Maybe Sega Tetris for the Dreamcast, given Sega is pretty open to working with people for collections. It'll probably get more games as DLC just like the Atari Collection did. I think the Collection is great but we don't really need a collection to be half slightly different variants of Hatris and Bombliss when no one ever liked Hatris to begin with.

Don't know what else to say, so I'm skipping right to the answer of the question. Not really, mainly because let's face it, after Donkey Kong Country 3, they're going have to run through another franchise. I'm sure another Tetris will be added just a few days afterwards. 😉

When I asked that exact same question a few weeks ago, a few people came back and told me that there are countries in Europe where their school grading system is on a 12-point scale. That seems to be where that comes from.
