For 1987-1993 fox body mustang were either 2.3L 4 cylinder non turbo or 5.0L V8. However to increase horsepower in the four cylinder engines between 1991-1993 they were duel spark plugs per cylinder.

My 2nd car was a 1981 base Mustang. It had the non-turbo Lima 4 cylinder and an automatic. I inherited it from my mom when she got a new Taurus. It didn't have AC. It only had an AM radio. It was a complete and utter dog. But, hell, it looked cool, and that was important in high school. It was black and white. I had a friend with the same color scheme, but on an '87 LX 5.0. I was always a bit jealous of that car.

Definitely one of my all time favorite mustang generations too. I had the exact same car I bought used back in 2017. Mines was white with blue racing stripes and automatic transmission. Love doing burnouts and donuts down the street from my house. It was actually a little bit faster than my 03 GT convertible. Mostly because these mustang's are so light weight. You really can build these engines to make serious power with aftermarket parts.

Would you consider adding a segment to test “build quality” where maybe you’d press on different parts of the interior and see how much it creaks and whatnot? Probably just for the newer cars, though.

"Quality Is Job 1" was Ford's tagline from like the late 80's thru the 90's. Before Jacque Nasser took over Ford in 1999 and was more concerned with acquiring other companies like Volvo & Jag & Land Rover, Ford Quality was improving by leaps and bounds. Ford and Lee Iacocca's Chrysler were leaving GM in the dust!!😎😎

Ford and Volvo EV's require drivetrain software updates. If you get a corrupt file from the internet when the internet is sketchy say in a parking garage thick with concrete you risk uncontrollable accelerating and this has un alived people in the vehicle.
