The only thing I remember from back in the day about dangerous toys was buying the cd and nearly crashing my car because I was dying laughing when sportin a woody came on… man rock was fun back then

I bought WildBoyz at our local Disc Jockey store. The voice threw me off for awhile. But, once I got accustomed to it, it became one of my faves. My boys loved this album. Anytime we play a game with dice, we all sing Roll the Dice, guaranteed.

My buddy actually dedicated Best of Friends to me at his wedding, much to his wife's chagrin. 😂 The album is so fun. I just felt like there was a bit too much treble in the mix. But, the album truly slays.

I get it, we did need some form of change going into the 90's, but shitty that they wouldn't allow the 80's rock/metal to evolve. I only got into Grunge as a teen cause that was what was more popular at the time minus Metallica. Growing up I was introduced to 60's, 70's, and 80's as a kid in that time. Loved it all! Now in my 40's I am back to the 70's-80's rock. . . It's not dead, not with me.

I think metal in general was evolving quite nicely 91-94 but mtv /radio wasn’t playing it so no one knew it was evolving imo . Thanks for watching and hope to see you again 🤘

I grew up in the 80's as a teen. By 1991, these hair metal band types were dead in the water. Grunge destroyed the happy / party times of 1982-89.

Not sure about Wild Boyz but I appreciate your dislike of the bands description. Skold played Living Without You during his solo live dates last year which surprised me. There's footage on youtube of it.

Dangerous Toys Hellacious Acres wasn't forgotten here in Canada (it just wasn't as good as the first which is why I didnt buy it at the time...) The lead off single/video "Line em Up" didnt do much for me (compared to the first two singles of the first album)... there was way better songs to choose from as a first single...
@krashkoursemetalshow5 ай бұрын
I disagree 💯 , 😁 but still glad to hear your thoughts 🤘so it sold well in Canada ?
@offthecharts22725 ай бұрын
@@krashkoursemetalshow LOL! All good! It would be a boring world if we all agreed on EVERYTHING! I wouldnt say it sold "well" but we were all aware of it... they were also on tour with ALice Cooper on Operation Rock and Roll... which i sadly missed... :(
