I got every 1991 and 1992 pair of Jordans. The black infarad 6 is and will always be my favorite. I recently acquired 2 different 1993 samples of the OG olive 9’s. Getting them sole swapped and can’t wait to showcase.

Carmine are my favorite. I could never get Jordan's back in the day, but I have been rocking the retros since 2011 and got the Jordan 6 Carmine and White/Navy more recently.

Love the maroon. I always wanted it as a kid but had to go with the black infrared as the maroon wasn't Available in my local sports shop. I was ecstatic when they was finally given a retro. 14:50 I have that tracksuit top. I'd had it for a while but needed the cuffs and hem fixing, because the elastic had deteriorated due to age, but I literally fixed it myself just last week and I've worn it nearly every day since, lol. It's a fantastic Jacket. I wear my white infrared 6s or black cement 3s with it. Great collection bro. Glad you was able to find them all. 👍

I had the maroon as a kid. I wanted the bred but the maroon was the only one that was available. I got mine in early 1992 because it was on sale at that time when the 7s was just released.

@@flucas6595 January of 92 is when I got mine. I think mine was quite cheap compared to some of the Reebok pumps that I'd had up to that point. Probably half the price. I was just about still in a GS size at that point. Size 5 I think. I do believe those j6s was around £60. That would've been the equivalent of $120 according to the exchange rates back then, if I'm not mistaken.

My favorite Air Jordans by a mile. White infrared is my all time favorite. I have the black and red warm up suit from 1991, still looking for the white and the purple in a size large. When they retro the white infrared pair with Nike branding, that will be hype.

When the original Air Jordan 6 came out I was about 11/12 and that shoe really kicked off my love of sneakers. Had cool stuff before but Black/Infrared is it. Absolute perfect sneaker that goes with everything. At that age sneakers really started to matter, Jordan was right at his peak and the clothes that went with it was legendary. Even though i bought everything after I didn't have that feeling of perfection again until the 11. The 7's didn't have translucent sole or visible air but had the hurrache vibe. The 8's were like boots, the 9's were nice but the Columbia and Olive were the best imo. The 10's still had no visible air and were kind of lack luster due to his retirement. But the 11's to were Tinker's final masterpiece

Just a word of advice from someone who deals with a LOT of vintage guitars with materials that gas off and crack over time... You really should not store materials that deteriorate like this in the boxes and especially under that wrap. If you allow them to breathe I think they'll crack much less on those midsoles. Super glue is also a huge no-no. If you apply super glue to something, you really don't know how it'll react chemically with whatever you're applying it to. Chances are great it'll do more harm than good.

They'll crack either way.. best longevity is definitely storing climate control temp and humidity, ideally around 70 degrees and humidity 35-40% I think is ideal

The OG 6s look so much better than Retros, which are still nice, but the shape and little details make a difference. To me, it looks like the AJ6 Retros haven’t changed much. Its like JB is trolling dropping meh to ugly colorways for the 6s instead of a proper retro for at least the White Infared and Sport Blue.
