Americans really showed up for the Queen when she passed - and as a Brit, I will be eternally grateful for the love and respect they showed her in life. Those are our true friends right there, and in our lowest moments they show up without fail. 🇺🇲🇬🇧

Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was our adopted Queen. Most of us have known no other, and she lived her life in such an admirable and respectable way. Still can’t believe that the Queen is no more…and rather horrified by her replacement.

I'll never forget how considerate the queen was to Americans on 911. She ordered the royal band to play America's national anthem after 3 aircrafts drove into 2 buildings located in New York and Washington D.C. The passengers on the 3rd plane rushed the highjackers driving the plane into the ground in Pennsylvania, killing everyone on board. Plane number 3 was headed to d.c. destroy the white house. However no county's national anthem has ever been played in Great Britain in 1,000 years except for America's. That's the kind of person the queen was. History tells us our forefathers knew the king very well. Infact Dianna's ancestors were friends with our first president George Washington. Her family invited our president and his wife Martha to Dianna's family home for dinner often. And remember.. America will always help the citizens of u.k. remain safe. stay well

@@4dbak Yes, 9/11 was an awful day, we know all about it in the UK because when you stopped on that day, we did too - we stopped and stood with you. The Queen also opened 'the Queens Garden' at the Ground Zero memorial. It was about this that the Queen said "grief is the price we pay for love". As a Brit, I was 13 and at school on the day of the attack, I remember alot of commotion among the teachers as the news came out, and a whole school Assembly was called so we could have the news broken to us, as children, properly. I remember overhearing 2 teachers talking: "If there was ever a reason to fight back, it is this". I will never forget it. Thank you for your comment.

@Huw Wilson @Huw Wilson you probably encountered children on Twitter with green hair and poorly educated- and the UK versions of them were no better.

5:53 - “she forgot everything” 💀😂 but The Queen was so gracious about it. 💜 I miss her. I’ve never been to the UK, but a few days ago visited Saskatchewan (Canada) where they have a statue of her. My face lit up and I took a number of pictures with it. It made my day.

The most import event during this visit starts at 9:45 , when the Queen addressed a joint session of Congress. This a considered to be one of the highest honors the US government can bestow on a visiting head of state. Only "A List" world leaders are given this honor, and the Queen most definitely was in that league. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

Funny thing, we, in America, have no idea the Queen cannot be touched. She's not a person she's a symbol, anyway I think she liked the way she was received here.
@reuterromain10546 ай бұрын
It actually forbidden to touch her because Her Majesty is not a normal human being. She is a semi-divine being and ranks somewhere between God and ordinary people. But nowadays if you do touch her you won´t lose your head over it anymore. Lol!

@ 6:43 to 6:48 I had to rewatch this portion of the video a couple of time. The narrator was describing the extreme heat that luncheon and they showed men sweating and women fanning themselves, as they continued they zoomed into the queens lap where she had a light beige colored napkin, the camera angle makes it look like the Queen had her legs apart airing out the ol’royal cooter, but she wasn’t.

Of course she was the monarch of Canada for over 70 years! It's only natural that she visited her own kingdom more than any other countries!
@Zadir097 ай бұрын
Canada is still tied to the crown voluntarily as that's basically what caused Canada, Loyalists to the crown fled north, it's only fair then for them to want their Monarch. I understand the reasoning and am in many ways sympathetic at this point in history to those who want their Sovereign for a sense of unity and belonging.
