I wish they still had comps on runs like this too. Love bumps so big you can whip out three turns on one. Front, top and backside.

Me too Jason Nicholson! I think it really showed the skier's style as well as opposed to now the courses make the skiers sort of robotic looking. But I am way old school. LOL Still they are amazing athletes skiing moguls now.

You gotta love the old school comps before all of the officials and coaches got involved with their measuring sticks and perfect structured bump lines...

Moguls at that time were not carefully groomed and spaced and the landing area was filled with moguls. Now a day we don't see much of a wild run. Only big jumps since there is a landing area without moguls.

Yes, i prefer the old school way. Though I still enjoy watching mogul competitions, I wish they would go back to the courses made by skiers, not machines.

Idea: one World Cup a season they make competitors ski moguls like this, land in the bumps (no groomed landings), no inverts, must wear fluorescent clothing.

If I could ski like any of them, I would pick Nelson Carmichael.

Before mogul comps were ruined with fake mogul courses.

Yes, this course was off camber, spaced out, hard pack snowball snow and steep.
