at 2:47 it almost looks as if they're starting construction of Southern Terrace at that time, i'm sure that was a big project that took many years to complete

Yeah, I think that's what that is... but looking it up, it says that 新宿サザンテラス opened in 1998. That seems like quite a long time, but I guess there were a lot of steps involved. The bus terminal project took many years to complete as well.

The first thing I noticed vastly different in this video. It was all complete when I arrived in early 2002.
