I bought a set of front bearings 2 months ago and finally had the time to install them. Watching your video beforehand surely helped me out. Thanks for your time effort and fortitude...!!!

I pushed out my seals by pushing out the bearings which in turn pushed out the seals. I used a 10” round tapered punch and ground the square face to about a 30° angle which allowed it to dig into the bearing between bearing and the spacer couple of healthy solid smacks with two pound hammer and the bearing was on its way out along with the seal. Very easy job.

Did you change the seals that you put in backwards? Inside one has the extended lip to ride on the axle deeper from the set point of the housing.

When did you finally realize that you put the front seal in the back and the back seal in the front? All in all still a helpful video. I have to replace them on my daughters big bear.

Hi , just bought a 94 big bear 350 tonight...the bearing are shot on the front. Problem is the CV shaft is seized real bad in the in the races. Do you think if I popped the CV shaft out of the front diff I could pound the CV shaft out of the hub with both bearings coming out the one side

Planing on replacing both CV shafts and all front bearings

Give it a try you may have to heat it and put it in a press or just buy a used hub

That brake dust contains asbestos. I recommend wearing a dust mask. Great videos by the way!

It's OK, you had a bus to reach. No greasing, seals wrong place, not cleaning brakes etc. Sorry. Still you seem to be skilled
