Just what I needed. Thanks. Removing these cables is greatly assisted by rust, and I have a lot of assistance in that department, haha.

Never hurts to have a functional parking brake.

Crazy rust action there, I won't tell you how clean the 1994 was I just worked on 🤣Sadly though the frame was diamond,swayed and welded So the gaps weren't perfect when I sent her home but the cute little blonde was so happy I didn't total off her truck 🙂Thanks for the video Josh

This truck is actually in good shape because I Fluid Film it every year. We have 2016 Chevy trucks at work with completely rust covered frames and holes in the rear wheel wells already!

I can not seem to find a driver and passenger side cable of the same thickness and length in any combination of brands. The last quality cable I bought from ebay says made in USA.

The cables when u buy um are without the ambulance package correct??
@QuickSpeedShop2 ай бұрын
I would assume so. Ambulances were probably dually F-350s.

Are the springs at the end of the cable what allow the parking brake pedal to be pushed back up from the set position? My pedal will only come back up if I use my foot to help it along and I’m wondering if replacing the cables will help with that.
@QuickSpeedShop9 ай бұрын
The spring on the front cable usually is what keeps the pedal up.

Would you happen to have the oem part number?
@QuickSpeedShop10 ай бұрын
No. I just bought the cable on RockAuto.

OMG....Rust is everywhere :-(, NY state should do the same than Oregon or other states: no salt!

This truck is actually in good shape because I Fluid Film it every year. You should see what the trucks at my work look like after only 8 years in the salt!

Have you ever seen a 1/2 ton excursion 92-97 body style? There one near me.. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen…
@QuickSpeedShop11 ай бұрын
It not an Excursion, those were based on the Super Duty. You probably saw a stretched Bronco. I've seen them before. Centurian or some other aftermarket company modified them.

Would this emergency brake cable setup be the same for a 1990 ford f250?
