Have either of you tried the alfa Romeo Mito? Just did a service on my mom's car. You need to take out the right front wheel, remove the wheel housing and if you don't feel comfortable bending a spanner for the job, need to remove an axle as well. Oh and did I mention that the oil filter is not one of those can ones that has female threads. It sits in a housing that needs to be opened and there is no chance getting a tray in there to catch the oil that comes out when you open it. Italian engineers, seriously...

If you can find someone who can weld you the old steering wheel center to the new Momo outer piece, you could keep the factory accessory look and still have the smaller sized wheel. I say someone, because even tho i can weld, i still wouldn't trust myself and would seek a pro welder's services.

I looked up the specs, this is only 9" longer than the original Mini, it is like someone took a Fiat X1/9, crossed it with a Mk 1 MR2 and then washed it at too high a temperature. Edit, the headlights and front bonnet are very reminiscent of the original Renault Twingo.. Tom - any plans to get hold of an original Lotus Elan ?
