1992 Galway International Rally

Fresh from his double championship success in 1991, Kenny McKinstry went all out in 1992 with the purchase of a brand new Group A Subaru Legacy. Galway, always a tricky season opener, wasn't an ideal rally for McKinstry and having missed out on a pre event test he was lacking mileage in his new machine. Over a dramatic weekend he eventually emerged victorious to take a debut win in his new car!

Saw Franks Sierra at Welsh Area Rally Spares W.A.R.S and knew exactly whose it was in the early 90’s, Frank then had a 4dr Cosworth
