Best way I found to put my hardtop on by myself is to fold the rear seats, lift the top over your head, sit in the rear cargo area, and let it down from there.

Back in 1992 the hard top was not available from dealer. Mine had A/C in it as well & all i did was changed the radio & put in better speakers.

Geo was a join GM-Suzuki effort, I believe once it became Chevy Tracker later on it only had GM parts? Nice vehicle you got, wish these were still made.

They were still based off Suzuki vehicles up until the 2004 Chevrolet Tracker. They were mechanically identical to the Suzuki Sidekick and Vitara. After that, Chevy brought back the Tracker name as a rebadged Trax in some markets like Mexico. Suzuki still sold the Vitara up until 2013 in the US. They didn’t sell the 2 doors in the states, you could only get them as a 4 door, but they still carried many of the attributes that made the geo trackers great.

It makes it easier if you crawl under the top and lift all the way up using your arms shoulders and head and walk forward to place the topper down on the tracker, that’s what I always do
