As an 80's baby who grew up in the 90's, I can attest to the ability of mentos to fix any social situation. Once saw a NYC hooker shoot an abusive John in the middle of 42nd Street in the early 90's and when the cops rolled up she just pulled out the Mentos and smirked and everyone just sort of shrugged their shoulders like "well she DOES have the Mentos, not much we can now".
