1:48 £22,000 in 1992 means £46,200 in 2023. That is way, WAY less than any one-make series race car like Ferrari Challenge or Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Heck, it's even less than a BTCC race car!

It is crazy how good value the series was for a full on v8 racer. It does seem somewhat inaccessible nowadays.
