I wish the Supermarket Sweep reboot would've still had David Ruprecht and Christopher Rhyne with a LIVE saxophone playing in between parts of the show.

Ruprecht was supposed to announce and Rhyne's music package was supposed to be used. Fremantle basically told them to f*ck off when it came time to produce the reboot though. Part of the reason why I was so happy when it was cancelled.

Can you do the 1989-1993 opening/ending theme of "Supermarket Sweep" next? 9/21/2024 EDIT: Replying back to IvoryM1986's comment: The 1989-1993 theme for "Supermarket Sweep" is regular pitched and it's also the one that features one of Johnny Gilbert's opening intros that goes for example like this: "Welcome to the first supermarket in the world that gives you money: $5,000, and we have give it away time and time again. Since $5,000 is serious money, you have to do some serious shopping to earn that 5,000. The whole idea is to shop faster and smarter than the next person. Go ahead, grab everything you can get your hands on, then fill up your cart as high as you can. Sure, it may look like hard work, but you know what, it's a lot of fun too. When you win the 5,000, sometimes you get carried away, and sometimes you'll even be moved to tears. So get ready, because you never know what's gonna happen on "Supermarket Sweep". So to answer that in short: "Yes, that version of the theme music."

Oh, you meant the theme music that opened and ended the first 4 seasons of episodes of Supermarket Sweep, the 4th season had the higher pitched version of the theme music and the 4th season intro went: Do you know how much money was won on Supermarket Sweep? There goes $5000, there goes another $5000, look, these women won over $10,000! Team after team, it's been win, win, win, how much has been won? Over $500,000 on Supermarket Sweep. This theme music here introduced us to its VHS section of the market, the TV Mystery Product monitors(it originally had the ill-fated touchscreens, the $100 Candy Corner where it originally used the Brach's Candy Bags, were all witnessed with the 5th season logo seen at the very top of the screen.
