We still don't know if Christopher Rhyne found the DAT tapes the 1989 music package was recorded on. Thanks so much for this.

Never heard back from him. Was supposed to upload them to my channel. He's a really busy person though.

Pretty good effort to remove background noise from the original audio. If I ever hear back from Chris regarding him finding the original cues, I'll provide updates.

Weren't there any more cues used from the 1989 pilot to 1993? I'm talking about the main ending theme, which had a part that segues into the main stanza. Also, there was another version of the theme that had no horn leads. Well, it was first used as the main theme for the 1989 pilot, but when the pilot was picked up as a series in 1990, it was used as a cue for when a team wins the Big Sweep and for whenever the winning team wins the $5,000 in the bonus round.

So, after going through the entire 5th season with an entirely new theme package with audio distortions that were exclusive to that very season, several theme beds from this package have returned on a long term basis. Mainly the theme music from the 1989 pilot has returned in full force while their later theme music without the saxophone lead is only used on episodes when they also have the S1-S4 back from commercial theme bed as well as on the Semi-Finals and Championship finale of the Twin Car Giveaway month, which was also a special way to inaugurate Lifetime TV's new logo now seen on the bottom right of the screen.

@@IvoryM1986 You mean the entire *fourth* season. Lifetime: Season 1: February 1990 to December 1990 Season 2: April 1991 to December 1991 Season 3: July 1992 to January 1993 Season 4: July 1993 to July 1994 (the inaugural season of the new theme) Season 5: September 1994 to June 1995 There were five seasons, not six. Each had two Sweeps of Champions (though season 2 also had a Super Sweep of Champions). The first three spanned nearly an entire calendar year (the only reason season 3 went beyond that was because the season finale debuted at the start of the new year).

@@GamingDelight No, Season 1 had the Hughes Supermarket outside shot opening and had 3 sets of pricing items, as well as totaling up with the cents included, later first season episodes had the Weird Costumed Customer. Season 2 still had 2 sets of pricing items and had *4* shopping list items so there was a time in the second season where a team found 3 shopping items but still didn't complete the Shopping List and Big Sweep totals were frequently in the $360-$470 range and Jerry Wright was mentioning about the cart baskets they had in the second season as well, those also didn't last long and the NCR were still square-shaped. The first season episodes had the "Come On, You're On!" line and that line had to be changed to "Okay, you're on!". In the 3rd season, there was a time where a team found the cash without even solving the second clue, this was BEFORE the $100 Coffee bonus was added and also adding the pre-Bonus Sweep line of solving the first 2 clues before going for the big money, in that season, there was also a $10,000 Bonus Sweep, which featured teams that won their Bonus Sweep in their first appearances. The 4th season(that were taped between May and September 1992) also had the higher pitched and faster octave version of the main Version 1.0 theme music, and the Mini-Sweep marker looks different.
