1993 Darien Lake Laser Light Show

I could not thank you enough for posting this. I was thinking to myself what are the chances of the laser light show being on KZbin and form there I started thinking "Man I wish I can see it as I remember it from when I was a kid" And there it was 1993 that is grate. Thank you so much for posting that I loved it prob just as much as I did when I was a kid.

Darien Lake first installed the laser show in 1992. I saw the first one.

If the day this was recorded was July 17th then it’s officially been 30 years now if you can believe it. If you had any more footage of the park or the show over from past seasons I’d love to see it here on KZbin.

Was this when it was located between the Haymaker and Silver Bullet in front of the Barracuda Bay entrance?

The Laser show has always been located by the old amphitheater by Boomerang. When the Present Amphitheater was built, the old was was open to its new purpose. still delivering shows like this for 31+ Years.

@zfilms4858 nope it was located between the haymaker and silver bullet for the first couple of years, then they moved it to it's current location.

@@markvolpe2305 My father CLEARLY remember it being at the lakeside amphitheater. he was at one of the 1st shows in 1992. The only time the laser show wasn't at the lakeside amphitheater was in 2021 because of COVID. Yep it was on the front of barracuda bay and they would raise the screen up for it then I think like by third year they moved it where it is now

I did some research, Yeah, 1993 was the 1st year it moved to its perminate home. So i guess your memories are correct. That leave 1 question for me, When did the show 1st happen? I'm currently trying to research into the entire history of the park.
