Regarding broken tabs, you can rebuild them, using two part epxoy and fiberglass fabric. I rebuilt a bunch of plastic motorcycle side covers with them to stronger than new. Mix it up, roughly shape it, then let it cure and carve/refine it with a dremel/sandpaper/files/drill, sandpaper glued to a popsicle stick..use you imagination. You may want to try it out on your broken top clamshell cover steering column. You can also wrap the wet tabs in plastic wrap to shape it and protect plastic in tight areas. You can study the tabs on your replacement for ideas. Might make an interesting video. Thank you for the content.

I messed with it once but it’s a fragile piece. But knowing me I might take on the challenge, thanks for the feedback

Hey bro, did you have to trim the faceplate to fit the gauge at all? I know Bob did it in his video, just wondering if its necessary
@bitingantz Жыл бұрын
It worked fine without trimming in my case.

I have the same gauge and now i can installed. Do you know which sensor makes the temperature gauge move?
@bitingantz2 жыл бұрын
The sensor for the gauge should be a single wire sensor located by the water neck tree on the left side of the engine
