Gerald Wilkins actually played really good defense on Jordan at the end. But Jordan is Jordan!!

The energy in that arena on that final possession, you can hear it and feel it even to this day. The whole place knew what happened in 89 and when MJ touched the ball, they knew what was coming. The NBA had such a following back then, not just MJ and the Bulls but the entire league itself ruled the sports world. What a time to grow up in

LeChoke would have missed or passed to someone with a “ better shot “ MJ is the real goat.

Aside from watching Jordan in action, the sportscasting team of Tom Dore and Johnny "Red" Kerr only added to the excitement. Great times growing up in Chicagoland.

This was the first buzzer-beater I had ever seen. Fittingly, it was MJ. I was so excited, haha! Even my mother was getting into it.

It was absolutely over when Jordan made the last shot at the buzzer.

10:40 How did MJ survive that flagrant foul. Lebron would have broken in half with that kind of contact 😅

Eh we saw Bron getting smacked on top of the head last season and he acted like an anvil was dropped on his head. Surprised he didn’t load manage the next game. 🤣

Bron would cry like a child if he was smacked down.

After that game Lenny Wilkens left the Cavs.

@14s98. Did he get fired or did he resign.

@@bw1190 Thank You for the correction. Mistake from my part. On May 24, 1993 Lenny Wilkens resigns one week after the Cavs lost the series against the Bulls. Then on June 2, 1993 he was name Hawks Coach.
