Though the Pistons time was done by now, Marv wasn't going to make it sound like that because it would be bad for the viewers. Pistons played well in this game. They had the lead for a good part of the time. They didn't go down without a fight here. Bulls were fortunate to win this one. They weren't in full control of this one. Probably the closest the Pistons came to beating them after being swept the previous year.

Those aren't 'The Bad Boys' -- The Bad Boys were the 1989 Pistons, the 1990 team without Mahorn weren't 'The Bad Boys' but just an extension of that team but the 1991-92 team without Vinnie Johnson and James Edwards, no, that team stopped competing for titles in the summer of '91 when they got rid of those two guys .... Now, it makes it easier for Chicago to win; remember, the '91 team was injured and played through it and lost, on purpose might I add .... but it was done after '91.

No. They are both Eastern Conference teams. The NBA Finals is Ec Champion vs WC Champion. The Bulls played the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals from 1989-1991.
