In 1993, Ski Doo upped the ante with their Mach 1 twin-cylinder go-fast.
The Mach Z was a spring order-only machine, with only 600 built. (The first Mach Z had a fiberglass hood that was replaced with plastic in the following years.)
The 774 cc engine features a reed valve intake with RAVE variable exhaust valves, triple pipes, and flatside Mikuni TM 38 carbs. Note that the Rotary valve was out on this new Ski Doo.
The factory-equipped skis were metal on top, but plastic on the ski bottoms. The F2000 chassis included a DSA (Direct Shock Action) trailing arm front suspension. Compared to other F2000-based models, heavier springs were added for its triple-cylinder engine. Out back, there were three shocks in the rear suspension.
NOTE -- in the video, I miss-spoke about the engine displacement. It is 774 cc (780 type)
