Do you ever dream of a place where a lot of people drive mostly jeeps from all generations from the ww2 to the most latest jeeps of all. I remember back then my grandpa told me that they were more ww2 jeeps than any other latest and vietnam war era jeeps being driven back then not just american jeeps you could see. But also some japanese type ones like the toyotas and Mitsubishi and also korean ones too. Even today there is still a factory to this day that still manufactures ww2 and vietnam war era jeeps to this day. A lot of people still drives jeeps today in my country 🇵🇭 including the iconic passenger jeepney too. Even though that jeepneys and old jeeps are not allowed to be driven on big cities and you can only see them in rural, mountainous and remote areas. For the fact that many people here now drive pickup trucks and SUV but for me they'll never beat the old jeeps here they can be fixed at any repair shops rather than a fancy service center!

I just bought a 1994 yj 4 cylinder 4x4. for 4500. Needs a lot of elbow grease (door seals, exhaust work , interior work, new windshield.) But drives down the road great . I used to own a 1996 cherokee and the steering is way tighter in this yj. Cant wait to start working on prettying the thing up.

@@drinkmyjelly I had to get a new clutch ( duel friction centerforce ) and that was around $500 then I bought a Holley Sniper fuel injecter 2 barrel and that was $1200 then my Axle snapped and then had that fixed and had most my seals replaced and that was $2300, there was also the labor charge to get this done and I didn't keep track of it but it had to be little over a grand, also I still need to get Ford 8.8s when I find them, also a new transmission because the current BAH-10 5 speed I have is still working just fine but I read there poor quality so later down the road that should be the last thing I need to do, all in all between $4000-$5000 I put in it Edit: I bought my 87 for $4900, and it had only 166k miles on it

I love Jeeps & grew up @ end of CJ era (even owned a few in my youth.) After yrs of bad mouthing YJs as "Yuppie Jeeps" etc., 4 yrs ago I bought a near mint 94. I take back all my previous stupid comments about the YJs. I LOVE my 94. An added plus, I bought it when price point for YJs was low & now they keep rising in value!

Nice start , some changes you might consider are, TJ flares, allow you to open the wheel well for more articulation room. Sway bar disconnects to improve front axle articulation. Cut a hole in rear floor above gas tank so you can get to fuel pump without dropping the gas tank. Get rid of slip yokes and go to telescoping drive lines, stronger and better as the jeep grows. ROCK SLIDERS! gas can carrier, nothing worse than having 5 gal extra gas in the cab and getting sick from the fumes There are lots of changes , but don't be in a hurry. Have had my yj for 18 years, never gets old or done. Look it up on you tube, " Wes drives over a car ". Give you insight into yj as to what can be. Just empty every pocket is what JEEP MEANS.

It looks good really good! Make sure you put a fairlead on your winch. If you don't, the winch rope will rub against the winch mount and destroy the rope. Your front bumper may also be a problem if you have to winch at much of an angle since the bumper sticks out farther than the fairlead. The rope could rub against the bumper causing problems or bending it depending on how much force you put against it.

Perhaps if you’re one of the folks who never leaves the pavement, maybe. However, if you do leave the pavement or just want a more durable coating you don’t need to be worried, it’s a good option. Also, jeeps are all about personalization ... if you’re that concerned about what others do to their jeeps, maybe you’ve purchased the wrong vehicle. And if you don’t t even own a Jeep and you are just talking shit, then I feel sorry for your closed mindedness. Figure out your own issues before you trash others. Have a good one.
