I always enjoy your videos Steve. I’m a fellow West Aussie with grandparents who lived at Whim Creek and Onslow from the late 1890’s to the 1930’s. Not quite as far as you travel but always fascinating to see the outback.

Strictly speaking this not really the Tanami track. As I understand it the Tanami runs from Alice Springs to Balgo Hills. The road he is on appears to be one from Fitzroy Crossing to Balgo. The was an alternative via Halls Creek. But the none of these unsealed roads get the maintenance they require.

How I wish to drive such vehicle on such terrain a long distance trip. I from the Philippines. A very funs of mr.steve grahame a veteran driver of Australia. I am also a driver here in the Philippines a stick truck driver of 10 wheeler hauling aplywood from the factory to the port. A 35 kl distance back and fort.for3× a day seven days a week 30days a month routine..

And not only that, but you can fix a lot of things yourself without the need for some technician with a laptop to fly in by helicopter to reset an error code and get you out of limp mode.
